Founding director
Dr. Sri Radha Sharon O'Neill
YAI Certified · Director for Ireland 2014–2021 · Teaching since 2006
Dr. Sri Radha Sharon O'Neill founded Golden Glow Yoga College in Ireland in 2006. GGYC and its community of volunteers created five award-winning yoga studios across Cork and Galway. Her vision was simple: to create welcoming space, a joyful thriving college where every student feels genuinely, deeply supported, and expertly guided.
Certified with Yoga Alliance since 2006 and subsequently at Senior and Grand Master Yoga Therapy with Yoga Alliance International in India with Swami Vidyanand in 2013— the founder of SriMa Transformational Yoga and Yoga Alliance International — GGYC evolved into the UK in 2021. Sri Radha brings rare depth to her teaching. She served as Director for Ireland under Yoga Alliance International from 2014 to 2021, overseeing teacher training standards nationwide. Awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Yoga in 2017 to reflect the dedication to her studies of Indian heritage and lineage.
Today she leads the GGYC faculty across Ireland, the UK, and the Philippines, teaching in person and virtually. Every teacher in training is personally mentored. Her warmth, precision, and genuine love of yoga are what graduates remember most.
"Deliciously welcoming" — the spirit that defines every class, course, and retreat at Golden Glow Yoga College. GGYC has fifteen Senior Instructors in both Ireland and the UK.
